Graeme Le Roux | Big Boss

Kia ora, Ko Graeme ahau, aka G. Born in Durban, South Africa. I moved to Aotearoa after high school and studied 1 year of carpentry, 1 year of civil engineering, 2 years of a business degree and at least 4 years as a pizza delivery driver. Along with 20 or more other odd jobs, a variety of life mistakes and learning all the while what I did not want to do and chasing after things that genuinely interested me. Including quitting my job at new years one year because my boss wouldn't give me time off to go to a festival. 

Today I am living my best life (still making mistakes - lest be honest lol), spending time with my family and friends, travelling(my passion) and working together with such an amazing team at Stellarhaus. Feel so blessed to be part of the best team culture I've ever experienced.

 

Jenna | Logistics Support

Malo e lelei! I'm Jenna & I have been a part of the Stellar Haus team in the warehouse for 4 years (time flies when you're having fun, right?!)

I enjoy live music, time with family, self care & rooting for underdog.

My favourite product would have to be our Hanging Glass - Gold Bead Sphere.

 

Alex | Sales Rep

Kia ora! I'm Alex and I joined the Stellar Haus team in 2023 after making the transition from a career in teaching.

The main focus of my role is in sales and customer service.

Most of my free time is spent with my wife Whitiora and our miniature dachshund called Pumba, usually relaxing on the couch.

My favourite Stellar product is the gravity lamp, it's such a gorgeous product.

 

Thomas | Sales Rep Manager

Hi there, you're looking well! My name is Thomas and I've been at Stellar Haus for 10 years.

My main role is in sales. I service our lovely Canterbury stockists, but also love working with stores across the country.
 
I spend my free time with my wife & 5 children, driving to and from activities in our big blue people mover (a reluctant but very necessary purchase).

My favourite Stellar product at the moment is the new chameleon night light - turns out you're never too old to want a touch sensitive, colour changing USB night light - how good, how good!

 

Lou | Office & Customer Service Superstar

Kia ora, I'm Lou and I've been at Stellar Haus since May 2024 and feel like I'm part of the whanau already. The team here are truly a fun and kind bunch of people! 

My role is in Customer Service and Administration and I'm in my happy place working for both customers and colleagues, surrounded by such cool product. 

When I'm not working, I obsessively listen to music, live if possible, I love film and reading a good book beneath Stellar's twinkling lights, (our 360 degree Table Lamp is perfect for the job). I also love walking the hills of Canterbury.

I'm a big fan of bright colours so I'd say my favourite product is our Rainbow LED Filament USB Lightbulb, and the 360 Lamp in orange

Whitiora | Social Media

Kia ora, I am Whitiora and I manage the social media with a side of Warehouse work. 

I have been with Stellar Haus for officially 5 years but in some ways I have been here from the beginning as my parents started this business when I was little. I grew up around fairy lights and I love the magic they bring into spaces. 

When I’m not at work, you’ll find me doing crafts, attending wānanga, and being with whānau. I love my culture so learning everything Te Ao Māori has been a huge priority for me and I have a specific interest in Rongoā Māori. 

My favourite Stellar product (at the moment lol) is the sand wax and camping lights!

 

Rose | Office & Accounts Manager

Kia ora my name is Rose and I have been with Stellar Haus 7 years.

My role as Office Manager is to make life easier for everyone within the office and any of you who are get in touch. I love chatting to you on the phone or over email.

In my spare time I wrangle four high school children, love a long walk up a mountain or along the beach, and enjoy trying new recipes in the kitchen.

It's too hard to choose my favourite Stellar product, so it's a two way tie between the outdoor fairy lights and the 360 lamp for all the indoor/outdoor twinkles and mood lighting (ha!)
